Ph.D. Candidate
King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST)
I'm a Ph.D candidate at KAUST, working jointly with the communication theory lab, led by Prof. Mohamed-Slim Alouini, and the information science lab, led by Prof. Tareq Y. Al-Naffouri.
My research interests are predominantly in the signal processing and wireless communication area. I’m driven by the impact of access to digital technologies on reinforcing and accelerating inequalities, particularly in rural areas; therefore, I focus on developing solutions to democratize connectivity by optimizing advanced wireless services, whether making them less complex (and thus more accessible), enhancing coverage, or improving their reliability.
In my research, I apply a range of signal processing tools, including optimization tool and detection methods, to comprehensively analyze wireless communication systems and design solutions for improved communication access.
Currently, I'm designing physical layer solutions to mitigate the time and frequency dispersion in wireless communication systems.
